Informed Choice post 'fact-checked' by the AFP
It seems that the checkers may be allergic to facts? Or maybe they're paid to be?
The AFP (Agence France Presse) supposedly fact-checks online and print articles for their potential bias and truthfulness.
This organisation, which obtains 40% of its operating expenses from the French Government and has 3 of its 18 Board Members provided by the French State, is trying to claim that it is independent and fact-based. That somehow, it has both the knowledge and the gravitas to critique articles written by others.
I beg to differ.
In this article which was published yesterday, Posts warning of 'poisoned' Covid jabs in Australia share unverified reports of side effects in children, the AFP somehow makes the claim that my post, Jab carnage is visited on Australia's youngest and most vulnerable. Brendan Murphy remains silent is misleading because it relied on government data provided by the Database of Adverse Event Notifications (DAEN) for its figures. It also names Senator Gerard Rennick as misinforming the public because he shared the same table on his Facebook page (see below) as I had in my article.
