COVID-19 Royal Commission Report has just come out
On Friday afternoon...what a surprise!
Julian contacted me and let me know that I messed up the picture! It was a photo of Albo and info on a COVID Inquiry - not the royal commission. So I’ve changed the picture with my apologies. Instead, I have Sherlock Holmes with his eyes covered up trying to investigate. Hopefully this isn’t how the Royal Commission will go. Julian is sending an update shortly but he is feeling positive. Watch this space.

I have only had a chance to read through it briefly but wanted to share so everyone can see what is happening.
The Government issued their dissent to the terms of reference (I’m unsure if they mean specifically the People’s Terms of Reference which were discussed in early substack articles or if it was some other Terms? But I don’t believe they will have the final say.
The Greens - being the Greens - tried to twist this into an inquiry into racial and financial inequality in Australia rather than a transparent look at policies crafted by all 3 major parties that targeted ALL Australians equally. In other words, equal opportunity discrimination.
I’m not going to write any more right now. I’m sure Julian or Peter Fam will be sending an update shortly, but I wanted to make sure you got copies of the report and recommendations and had a chance to look them over.
